The Important Roles of Learning Business Partner in Corporate University
One of the main roles within Corporate University is the Learning Business Partners (LBP). These LPs reside in Corporate University yet should be closely-connected to the Business Units to capture its goals, challenges and expectations towards their employees.
Therefore, LBP should be able to converse with business stakeholders on the vast changes and pressures from external organization that create business gap.
The LBP’s role is to analyze employees’ performance gap that causing the business gap, of which could be translated into both learning and non-learning factors.
LBP should focus on designing learning solutions to close the competency gap of the employees and enable them to contribute towards the expected business performance.
